1. Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, and profile image provided through Google Sign-In, together with account and subscription status.
- Billing information: Google Play provides subscription and trial status. Google processes the payment; Nextritech does not receive or store your payment card number.
- Saved projects and company profile: project and client labels, site details, load entries, design results, BOQ edits, financial assumptions, and company branding are saved in app storage on your device. They are not stored as cloud project files in your account.
- Equipment and pricing: custom catalogue entries, technical specifications, and price edits are also stored locally on your device. They are not synced to your account. If you run a calculation using custom inverter or battery options, the relevant candidate specifications and values may be sent to the calculation service for that run.
- Calculation inputs: when you run a design, technical inputs needed to calculate it (such as market, load totals, site and component settings, and relevant custom equipment parameters) are sent over HTTPS to our backend calculation service. The service returns sizing results. The app does not create a saved cloud project record from this request.
- Technical information: basic device and app-version information may be used for diagnostics and support.
The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, or microphone, and does not collect GPS location. Site and client details that you type into a project remain in that device's saved project file unless you include them in a report or JSON export.
2. How information is used
- To authenticate your account and check trial or subscription access.
- To process technical design inputs and return system-sizing results.
- To create the reports and exports you request in the app.
- To provide account support, maintain the service, and investigate operational problems.
- To prevent the same email address from repeatedly claiming a first-time trial.
We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or share it with data brokers.
3. Service providers
- Google: provides Google Sign-In and Google Play subscription billing.
- Supabase: provides authentication, account and subscription records, market/configuration data, and the server-side calculation service.
These providers process information as needed to provide their services under their own privacy terms. Calculation requests are sent to the backend for processing and a result; saved project files and company profiles are not stored in the app account.
4. Retention
Account and subscription records are kept while your account is active. If a trial or subscription expires and remains expired, the account is automatically deleted after 15 days. You may also request account deletion at any time.
After account deletion, a SHA-256 hash of the normalized email address remains in a restricted trial-prevention record to prevent repeat trial claims. This is a hash, not the plain email address, but it may still be linkable to an email address.
A separate restricted deletion-audit record contains the deleted account ID, email address, and deletion time for administrative records. The current system has no automatic expiry configured for these audit entries.
Deleting the account does not remove saved projects, company details, equipment lists, pricing, or exported reports stored on your device. Remove those in the app or device storage. Files you have exported or shared are under your control and may remain wherever you saved or sent them.
5. Access, export, and deletion
You can export an individual project as JSON from the Designs panel and export your equipment list as CSV from Pricing. You can delete saved designs and custom equipment inside the app.
To delete your account, open the account menu beside your name in the app and choose Delete My Account, or use the account deletion page if you no longer have the app installed. The web request is confirmed through an email link.

6. Security
Information transmitted between the app and service providers is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Supabase applies encryption at rest and access controls to its hosted data. No online service or device is completely secure, so keep exported project files in a location you trust.
7. Children's privacy
SolarBESS Sizing Studio is a professional design tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International processing
Google and Supabase may process information in countries outside Kenya. Their services are subject to their respective privacy terms and safeguards.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will publish the latest version on this page and update the date above. Where a material change affects data handling, the app may ask you to review the updated terms when you next sign in.
